I think I've figured out the perfect mascara combination/routine. And it only takes three different products! Definitely not for the faint of heart :)
Here is what I've been doing:
Step 1. Prime the lashes with Estee Lauder's Lash Primer Plus.
Step 2. Apply a full, even coat of Diorshow mascara from Christian Dior in black (is there any other color??)
Step 3. Use the defining side of the brush from Clinique's High Definition Mascara to comb through the lashes. Start at the base and comb through to the ends.
Step 4. Repeat steps two and three 2-3 more times.
Voila! You will have amazing volume, rich black color, and perfect separation!!
